EAL Mesquite supports parents as the primary teachers by combining weekly in-class accountability with meaningful at-home learning in language arts and history.

We cultivate a love of reading through phonics foundations, living books, and robust vocabulary growth.

Integrity & Interaction

Character formation is encouraged through literature, discussion, and consistent classroom interaction.

Thinking Skills & Talents

Humanities instruction develops critical and creative thinking while helping students discover their gifts.

Elocution / Speaking Skills

Weekly recitation, speaking exercises, and class projects help students become confident communicators.

Yearly history themes

Current yearly theme (2026-27): American I (1500-1860).

  • 2027-28: American II (1830-present)
  • 2028-29: Ancient History
  • 2029-30: Medieval History

These are yearly history themes and are shared with families during planning and enrollment conversations.
